Street Department

The Street Department maintains and regulates city owned parking lots, streets, lighting and right-of-ways, traffic signals and various other items in order to maintain a high quality environment for our citizens and visitors.

The department also maintains storm sewers, sidewalks, the removal 0f snow and ice from the streets and city owned properties and many other tasks that keep our city safe for all that travel through.  The department is also responsible for maintaining city vehicles, equipment and buildings.

Road Maintenance

The Street Department maintains over 100 miles of streets within city limits.  The department also saves the city thousands of dollars per year by maintaining all city vehicles and maintenance of manholes, storm drains, and traffic signals/lights/signs.
