Created by local and internationally known artists, the Marion Mural District is paving the way for arts and cultural in Southern Illinois. The area around the mural district has an eclectic mixture of restaurants, nightlife and unique shops.
We will show you where to find these amazing murals, what they have in common and why they matter to the City of Marion. Many of these amazing murals are on walls in alley-ways or behind buildings, but do not be discouraged, the Mural District is easily accessible by foot from the main streets of the city.
