Seasonal Employee

Description: This position is a seasonal, non-benefit position working up to 1,000 hours.

Essential Functions:

  • Mowing, weed eating, tree trimming
  • Painting
  • Power washing
  • Litter pick up and disposal
  • Responds to inquiries from the public and staff, including occasional contact with distressed citizens
  • Performs related work as assigned by the Superintendent or Lead Man
  • Demonstrates regular and reliable attendance during all scheduled work hours

General Working Conditions:

  • Required to work outside in all elements of the weather
  • Must be able to operate all light and heavy equipment in accordance with all department standards
  • Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks; including bending, jumping, standing, climbing

Qualifications:  Must have a valid driver’s license and pass all pre-employment screening which includes a background check, physical examination and drug screening.

Compensation and Hours of Work:  $15.50 per hour. Typical schedule is Monday – Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
