Position Requirements:

Full-time position with ability to work overtime if needed. The position responsibilities include but are not limited to accounts payable, balancing vendor statements, assisting with audit preparation, budgeting, bank reconciliations and other office duties as required. The position requires proficiency in Excel and the ability to adapt to new computer software. Work will be performed under the general direction of the Assistant Treasurer or Treasurer.

Education Requirements:

Associate degree in accounting or related field with experience is preferred. Equivalent combination of education, skill and experience in the accounting field will also be considered.

Residency Requirement:

Within eighteen months of the date of hire, employee must live within twenty miles (straight line GPS) of City Hall.


Compensation will be $18.50 to $20.00 per hour depending upon qualifications. After a 60 day probationary period the City also offers a complete benefit package.
