A. HUB RECREATION CENTER

1) Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Joshua Konvalinka as part-time Custodian $11.00/hour, Front desk attendant $11.00/hour, and Cafe Attendant $11.00/hour.

2) Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Robert Lakotich as part-time Camp Counselor $11.00/hour.

3) Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Tristin Blumenstock as part-time Childwatch Attendant $11.00/hour, Front Desk Attendant $11.00/hour, and Cafe Attendant $11.00/hour.

4) Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Paul Lembcke as part-time Front Desk Attendant $11.00/hour, and Cafe Attendant $11.00/hour.

5) Approve the recommendation of the General Manager to hire Garrison Hagen as part-time Front Desk Attendant $11.00/hour, Cafe Attendant $11.00/hour, and Camp Counselor $11.00/hour.

B. PUBLIC AFFAIRS

1) Discuss/Approve agreement with John H Crawford & Associates, P.C. to provide Consultation and Administrative Services for the 2020 CDBG Housing Rehabilitation Grant Program, Grant #20-2430.

C. GOVERNMENTAL CONSULTING SOLUTIONS, INC.

1) Discuss/Approve Invoice 5583 for $3,000 for Consulting Services for July 2021.

D. MINUTES

1) Discuss/Approve minutes from the May 24, 2021 council meeting.

E. PUBLIC WORKS

1) Discuss/Approve the recommendation of the Superintendent to hire John Brandon Tyler as a full-time Laborer at the Water Department; wages and benefits per the collective bargaining agreement.

F. PART-TIME PERSONNEL

1) PUBLIC WORKS – Approve the recommendation of the Superintendent to hire Kyle Meadows as a Temporary Laborer at the Wastewater Department; at $15.50/hour, no benefit position, per the collective bargaining agreement.

2) SENIOR CITIZENS – Approve the recommendation of the Director to hire Colton Brigham-Young to the position of as-needed substitute Custodian at $12/hour; non-exempt, no benefit position.

3) STREET DEPARTMENT – Approve the recommendation of the Superintendent to hire Willem Heibner to the position of part-time temporary Laborer at $15.50/hour, per the collective bargaining agreement.

NEW BUSINESS

5. ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT AND MUNICIPAL PLANNING

A. Discuss/Approve the purchase of 1115 Midway Court for $20,000.

B. Discuss/Approve the purchase of 1206 W. Concord for $18,000.

C. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3731 an economic development loan agreement with Whimsy.

D. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3732 a Residential TIF redevelopment agreement with Brynnlayne Properties.

6. PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT

A. Discuss/Approve bids for Van Buren sewer project.

B. Discuss/Approve the purchase of security cameras at the Wastewater Treatment Plant from ProTek for $10,225.86.

7. TREASURER’S OFFICE

A. Discuss/Approve Ordinance 3733 authorizing a lending agreement with Banterra Bank to finance the purchase of new communication equipment for the Police Department.
