NEW BUSINESS:
1. Richard Cannon and Kenneth Cannon and their wives to publicly thank Mayor Butler and the Council for renaming Garden Way Street to Joseph Cannon Way.

2. Chuck Kuhns, Director Vets 4 Vets to discuss housing for Veterans.

3. Firefighters:
a) Approve Cathleen Anderson as Administrative Assistant – Fire Department @ $13.00/hr.
b) Council approval to move forward with a land swap between Williamson County Fire Protection District and the City of Marion for the city property beside Thomason Trucking for the Williamson County Fire Protection District property at the corner of East Main and Old Creal Springs Road.

4. Police:
a) Approve accepting new Police Sergeant after testing is completed April 12, 2017.
b) Council Approval to purchase 5 new Emergency Response Team (ERT) vests. Cost $13,333.54 paid from Drug Fund.
c) Council approval to apply for Justice Grant that will cover half the cost of the ERT vests (above item).

5. Code Enforcement
a) Approve request for Special Use Permit to allow Home Based Business for storage, repair and selling of Golf Carts at 2307 Spring Lane.

b) Approve request for Special Use Permit to allow an impound lot to be located at 307 W. Boyton Street.

c) Ordinance 3672 Ordinance Re-zoning from R-2 to C-1 Commercial – lot located at 1205 North Logan (lot located behind 400 East DeYoung) Casey’s General Store.
d) Ordinance 3673 Ordinance Subdividing NLB Properties.
e) Council approval of resignation of Code Director Jim Phemister effective May __, 2017.
6. Hub Recreation Center
Part-Time
Council approval to hire the following individuals:
Jessica McClellan as Camp Counselor @ $8.25/hr. & Child Watch @ $8.25/hr.
Robert Eddie Hungate as Wellness Attendant @$9.00/hr. & Sports & Rec @ $8.50/hr.
Kyla Tolbert as Child Watch @$8.25/hr.
