NEW BUSINESS
1. SEWER DEPARTMENT
Discuss/approve hiring of new employee Blaine Burk, as a Laborer in the Sewer Department effective February 12, 2019, with wages and benefits as per Laborers Contract dated 2015-2019.

2. WATER DEPARTMENT
Council discuss /approve having an 80’ x 45’ x 6” apron poured in front of the new Water Plant Building. Quotes include concrete, welded wire fabric, placing and finishing.

Samron Midwest Contracting $19,700.00
Donelson Concrete $22,480.00

3. FIRE DEPARTMENT
A. Council discuss / approve Firefighter Contract May 1, 2019 – April 30, 2022

B. Council discuss / approve bidding process on Fire station addition.

C. Council discuss /approve Sponsorship letters for Fire Prevention Program.

D. Council discuss/approve Fire and Police Merit Board’s appointment of Brockton Whitehead as Firefighter, Lieutenant Steve Plumer promoted to Captain, and Firefighter Mike Boyd promoted to Lieutenant.

4. STREET DEPARTMENT
Council approval of bids for the construction of the 5’ Sidewalks consisting of approximately 4,200 feet of 5-foot PCC sidewalk and miscellaneous items on Halfway Rd./West Main St.

5. HUB RECREATION CENTER
New Employee Recommendations – Part-time
Gregory Kerrigan-Maintenance Staff $9.00/hour.

6. MARION CARNEGIE LIBRARY
Council approval of resignation of Lindsey L. Clark from the Marion Carnegie Library effective February 22, 2019.

7. SENIOR CITIZENS CENTER
Council approval of resignation of Kenneth Gabriel from the Marion Senior Citizens after 35 years as the Custodian at the Marion Senior Citizens Center. Effective February 26,2019.

8. IT DEPARTMENT
Council approval of purchase of Maintenance Agreement of 2019 renewal for Cisco Meraki Router, Wi-Fi, etc. for City – Cost $9,367.44.

9. THE LIGHTHOUSE SHELTER
Council Approval of annual donation of $2,000.00 to the Lighthouse Shelter for the year 2019.

10. Discuss /approve security cameras for the Lighthouse Shelter.

11. TIF Resolution Resolution 2019-09 Inducement Resolution – Black Diamond Harley Davidson

12. ORDINANCE – 3495 Repealing Animal Control Ordinance 2189

13. Discuss / Approve waiving the requirement for part-time employees to live within the 10-mile radius of city hall.
