1. Council approval of bank bid for funds to purchase five new vehicles approved August 4, 2017.

2. Council Approval to hire Jennifer Gee as Clerk/Cashier in the Water Office per Laborers Union Local 773, effective 08/15/2017.

3. SEWER DEPARTMENT
a. Council approval to order 400 Wyss diffuser assemblies – total cost $14,000.00 (Budgeted item. Funds are in the Sewer Operations Account.)
b. Council approval to approve bid to construct a 16’x50’x10’ lean-to on the maintenance building. (Budgeted item. The money is in Sewer Operating Account.)

4. FIRE DEPARTMENT
Approve change order request from Ross Construction, Inc. in the amount of $7,495.00.

5. POLICE DEPARTMENT
Announce name of new Police Patrolman approved by Police/Fire Merit Board,
Nicholas McLaughlin, per FOP Union Contract dated May 1. 2015 – April 30, 2019.

6. CEMETERY
Council approval to replace a part-time GIS employee at the Cemetery Department.

8. CODE ENFORCEMENT DEPARTMENT
a. Approve request for Variance at 2714 Walton Way (Three (3) foot encroachment of proposed new building into the building setback line at the Northwest corner of the property.

10. MARION CARNEGIE LIBRARY
Approve resignation of Sheila V. Fredman from her position as Coordinator of Children’s Services at Marion Carnegie Library, effective October 13, 2017.

12. ORDINANCE 3389 – An Ordinance vacating a portion of Stadium Drive.

13. ORDINANCE 3390 – An Ordinance vacating that part of Hay Avenue lying between Lot 34 in Block 1 and Lot 17 in Block 2, and that part of the alley lying north of Losts 34, 33 and the west 20 feet of Lot 32 in block 1 of Sunset Terrace Addition”.

14. ORDINANCE 3391 – An Ordinance approving and authorizing the execution of a Professional Services Agreement for the Second Amendment to TIF V by and between the City of Marion and Jacob & Klein, LTD. and The Economic Development Group, LTD.

15. RESOLUTION NO. 2017-16 Inducement Resolution to amend TIF V District for Crisp Realty Company.
